We are delighted to announce another round of grants available to local groups. Following the success of previous rounds, we will once again be offering two categories of grants:
A) up to £400 for events celebrating Good Food East Sussex month in October 2024
B) up to £1500 to support projects fighting food insecurity in Lewes District
About LDFP grants programmes
Last round of small grants, Lewes District Food Partnership decided to be more flexible in its applications.
Rather than running an application process as we have done in the past, we are inviting projects to get in contact with us to talk through their ideas and their project requirements.
You may be familiar with the Making It Happen process of grant-giving which we are taking inspiration from. This aims to reduce the pressure on projects, allowing us to offer support around planning, policies and project impact.
Based on the success of the previous round, we will be continuing with this format.
Successful projects will be asked to contribute to the Lewes District Food Strategy consultation, and provide us with a blog about their project instead of a traditional reporting form.
Due to the volume of applications, we are asking for a first expression of interest by 13th September 2024.
Please don’t hesitate to contact our coordinator Nancy at info@lewesdistrictfoodpartnership.org for an informal chat and to ask any questions.
